Why does this happen and how can I fix it?
have you installed unity editor 2021.3.29f1? (this seems to be a file missing error)

this has happened to me and a bunch of other people, as far as I know no one knows how to fix it yet.

wierd. Maybe, try using unity hub itself rather than the rec room studio launcher (as in, go into where you installed rec room studio, copy the template project folder thingy and put it where you want le project to go (also rename it), then manually add it to Unity Hub) (sure its not muchhhh but it seems like a workaround to that!)

i might try that and see if that works beacuse i even installed a fresh copy of windows 10 to see if that helps and it was a no no (edit: it works thank you so much)
