I’m not sure what happened, but I remember RecNet previously had a chat feature. This was a highly useful tool, and I kindly ask Rec Room to consider bringing it back. It greatly enhanced communication and convenience for players.

Yes!!! It was so handy! And we at least used to have a substitute after they removed it, where on the mobile versions of the game you could access chat from the app without opening the game. Unfortunately this wasn’t implemented properly in the Android version, as it would still load a bunch of unnecessary game stuff right away instead of when you clicked “Play”.

yes, this needs to be re-added. i used to chat with my friend on rec.net. I don’t know why they removed it.

I strongly support the request to bring chat back to the RecNet website.
While the mobile app is great, there are many times when I am on my PC or laptop (for work or school) and want to quickly reply to a friend or check a DM without having to launch the full game or pull out my phone.
